The Park Avenue Hotel in Rockhampton, which is part of the Star Hotel Group, has demonstrated an outstanding commitment to inclusivity by employing five people with disability across various areas of the hotel. These individuals work in the kitchen, bar, restaurant, and cleaning departments.
Joblife Employment Rockhampton, has worked closely with the Park Avenue Hotel and its manager, Shawn Noyes, to provide ongoing support to these participants. Joblife staff Noella and Becci have developed a strong professional relationship with the hotel family and even celebrated team events at the restaurant.

The hotel and Joblife Employment work together to ensure the participants are included in team activities, receive roster flexibility for medical and family support, and are supported to achieve their goals.
