Joblife’s Employment Consultant Traineeship Program launched on February 7th 2022 and finished in February 2023 with our amazing graduates having now completed a dual qualification: Certificate IV in Employment Services and a Certificate IV in Career Development.
The graduates worked hard with their teams over the 12 months placing our participants into employment, supporting them after placement as well as a range of projects and tasks that has helped the entire organisation.
With the support of their team and colleagues, the cohort gained confidence and pride in themselves through their studies and on-the-job training, participating in creative and collaborative thinking.
This has led to 65% of our graduates moving into ongoing employment predominantly in the Disability and social purpose sector. They have secured roles as Employment consultants, IT professionals and Marketing experts.
The Traineeship Program
The program’s vision is to help Job seekers with capacity building, learn transferrable skills, become independent, and resilient through work that is meaningful and sustainable. We are proud to have placed one trainee within each region across Australia, currently totaling seven graduates who have completed this 12-month program.
The value of our program is to increase the number of people in our workforce living with disability an opportunity to obtain a nationally recognised qualifications through paid employment. We have embraced our vision by walking the talk with the determination to remove social and attitudinal barriers to participation for people living with disability.
